Business Scope

PCEC is mainly engaged in：

1. Testing of explosion-proof performance of electrical/non-electrical apparatus in special environment and other tests for special environment as well as issuing Ex certificates that are valid in China.
2. Undertake examination & test of State work Safety mainly for examination and test of electric safety of enterprises with explosion potential, corrosion and salt mist etc. such special environment nationwide to ensure safe production in these enterprises.
3. Annual national quality supervision and selective examination for explosion-proof electrical products of groupⅡ.
4. National examination for explosion-proof electrical products for certification of produce permissibility.
5. Verifying testing of marine electric products and marine explosion-proof electric products for China Classification Society (CCS).
6. Test for IECEx explosion-proof certification of International Electrotechnical Commission and European ATEX Directive certification and EC-Type-Examination Test as well as providing with relevant consulting service.
7. Providing with relevant technical service and application spread for electric safety in special environment within the scope of industries of petroleum, natural gas, offshore oil, chemical industry and pharmacy (combustible, explosive, corrosive, mist dust and water environment).
8. Research projects of electric safety in special environment from State government, Tianjin local government and industries.
9. PCEC has well established quality management system as well as testing and research accommodation, advanced/complete testing apparatus and meter, qualified testing and research personnel and adequate testing resources. It has the ability to carry out various Ex type tests defined in GB standards, IEC60079 and EN standards.
